Don’t miss Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th sponsored by Dr. Pepper Cherry. The show will feature Chris Young, Johnny P, The Sisterhood, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and the Nashville Symphony. They will play live, free music in downtown Music City. The Nashville Symphony will play during the fireworks extravaganza at Ascend stage. This year the sponsor will offer a massive stage and large viewing screens showing the performances so none of the highlights will be missed. This has been named one of the best Independence day celebrations in the country. The show is slated to end with a powerful finale not to be missed.
4th of July Fireworks
The City Of Nashville is planning yet another over the top fireworks spectacular. It’s known to be one of the better holiday displays around. The Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony will play live choreographed music in sync with the fireworks. This fireworks display is so massive it will take 8 days to set up the show. The show is slated to end with a powerful finale that is sure to mesmerize.
Fourth of July Family Fun Zone
The Music City Walk of Fame Park honors those who have made a significant contribution to the Nashville music industry. This Independence Day, the park will not only feature history but lots of family fun. Kids will be blown away with all the fun at the Family Fun Zone at the Music City Walk of Fame Park. Admission is free and open to all.
Music City Hot Chicken Festival
The Music City Hot Chicken Festival Brings local residents and visitors to celebrate the 4th of July with free hot chicken. Samples will be given to the first five-hundred people. The event will start at 11:00 am. Festival goers can enjoy hot chicken from some of the establishments in Nashville. There will also be a fire truck parade beginning at 10:30 am. Visitors can also watch the Hot Chicken cooking contest and listen to live band music.
