Hatch celebrates 140 years

The Hatch Show Print will be celebrating 140 years of print press. The Hatch Show Print was one of the very first letterpress shops in North America, founded by Herbart and Charles Hatch on the 12th of April 1979. The shop was originally known as ‘H.H. and C.R. Hatch Printers’ and despite its old age, the print continues to thrive in the 21st Century, which is impressive to say the least. Make your way to Downtown between the 20th and 23rd of June for the annual Wayzgoose Amalgamated Printers’ Association Conference and celebrate the Hatch Show Print’s birthday with other letterpress printers, artists, hobbyists, and commercial print operators. If you are in the print business or you are considering joining the industry, then this is one event you don’t want to miss out on.

Strategy Swap Coffee Hour

The Strategy Swap Coffee Hour has been organized by Beyond Business and is set to take place on the 18th of June at Center 615 along 615 Main Street. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss Social Media Best-Practices and your host will be Aja Prince from Notably Gray. This discussion is geared at enabling businesses to hone best practices, tricks, and tips that will enable those establishments to maximize their marketing efforts on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. If you are a budding business looking to expand your outreach and exposure, then this is one event you don’t want to miss out on this month. Note, however, that the Coffee Swap is a monthly event that helps businesses come together to brainstorm on the solutions to common challenges, so if you feel inspired by this first meeting you could make this a monthly affair. Tickets to this event are going for only $20 per head.

Integrative Life Center Family Workshop

As the name suggests, this event has been organized by the Integrative Life Center and is set to take place on the 21st of February from 6 pm and come to an end on the 23rd of June at 12 pm. Make your way to the Integrative Life Center located along 16th Avenue and receive guidance on the do’s and don’ts of healthy relationships. ILC staff will guide you and your loved ones through an educational exercise that is meant to cultivate conversation and understanding, which will, in turn, foster positive growth in all your relationships. You will acquire tangible tools that you can carry with you throughout life; tools that will help you form healthy environments of communication and healing for yourself and your loved ones. Tickets to this event range anywhere between $125 and $250.

June Clay Target Shooting

Do you like guns but have never gotten the chance to do some shooting? Well, here is your shot, literally. The June Clay Shooting event has been organized by the Nashville Gun Group, set to take place on the 22nd of June from 1 pm at the Nashville Gun Club along County Hospital Road. This event will be a friendly Clay Shooting activity that will accommodate shooters at all levels, including first-time shooters. You also don’t have to worry if you don’t own a shotgun; you will be able to rent one at the venue and the staff will be at your disposal to guide you through the entire activity. If there will be enough players, you will also get to participate in team competitions.

Tickets to this event are going for only $35 per head, which will cater for everything including clay targets, reservations, shotgun rentals, drinks, and snacks. You will need a box of 100 shotgun rounds to be able to take part in the event, which usually goes for roughly $25 per box. We recommend that you arrive early to the venue in order to register and start on time. You don’t want to miss out on any of the fun.
